Guadalajara Golf and Tequila

Few people know that the Guadalajara area is where most Mexican icons are from: Mariachi, Tequila and the best food! In this trip you will discover these things and enjoy two golf rounds on some of the most awesome golf courses in Mexico.

As with all our trips, your trip will begin on Thursday arriving to Guadalajara. Your dedicated driver will be waiting for your group at Guadalajara Airport ready to take you to your lodging.

From there, we have 2 days of golf and a full day in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. Yes, that’s right, Tequila, just like champagne and cognac, can only be produced at a specific place - Tequila, Jalisco.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Thursday

You've decided to spend a long weekend in the Pearl of the West, Guadalajara. Lay in bed after the alarm goes off and gather your energy for the long weekend ahead! If you find yourself looking things up on your phone we suggest learning enough of the words to allow you to believe you can sing along to Cielito Lindo after you've had a few. Take an Uber to the airport, check in, and find the bar where a cold Pacifico should be on the menu.

As you sit there text your significant other, that you'll miss them, then text your buddies and as you get on the plane turn your phone off. Vacation has started!

When you land we'll be waiting there for you. We'll load the luggage in our spacious vehicle, hand you another Pacifico and head towards the Hacienda that was booked for you and your friends. Tell the driver to take it slow and use the scenic route, mess up your hair and clothes and when you get there walk in with a smile, let the joke last long enough to get them uncomfortable. As everyone relaxes, have a few cantaritos, and get ready for dinner at the house. Let them in on the joke, or don't.

Day 2 - Friday

The smell of Chilaquiles fills the house the next morning because you just woke up to breakfast in the house! At breakfast lay down the ground rules for the game today, you don't want to waste time at the course figuring that out.

We'll load your clubs in the van, drive you to the course, and set you up with a local caddie that knows the course well. And what a course it is! The backdrop of the mountains surround the course, while the green fairways funnel the ball to the center of the fairway. Adult beverages are provided as you enjoy the day on the links.

At night we'll go out on the town. Guadalajara is the cultural capital of Mexico and has no shortage of fine dining. Afterwards we can find a Cantina and listen to the Mariachis as night carries on.

Day 3 - Saturday

Road Trip! It's time to load up in the van and visit Tequila! It's not only a drink, but the place it is made. Just like all great drinks, real tequila can only be made in a specific place in the world. And this is the place. A short drive from Guadalajara is the city Tequila, where we will go, visit the agave fields, and tour a distillery. See how it is made, taste their premium products and have a traditional lunch in the city.

You might want to pick a few items to bring back to the states, Tequila is always a great choice. We’ll drive back to Guadalajara around 4 pm, just enough time to have a short rest and get ready for the night That night we will visit the streets of Guadalajara and take you to where the locals go to eat, the

most authentic and flavorful food in the city.

Day 4 - Sunday

Yesterday was a long day so sleep in! We'll load up the bags and take you to the course for brunch.

As usual, a local caddie will help you throughout the day, and when you're done we'll bring you back to the house, where our chef will cook up dinner and you can relax, reminisce about the mancation you just experienced, and plan you're trip for next year.

Day 5 - Monday

Unfortunately, it's time to go home. Wake up when you're ready, have a bit of breakfast, and when you're ready we'll get you to the airport. Get a drink for the road and tell our driver to take the long way.
